and of course... valentine's day

Our Valentine's Day was pretty much improv. We had nothing planned...so at about noon I decided to think up a little something. We whipped a delicious little dinner and packed our beach bag, picked up a kite and headed across the street to the beach (life is good) just before sunset. The kite was the highlight of the night. It turned out to be a lovely evening for the three of us.

  9. Shelly!!! I am speechless! She is adorable, and your and John just make it all look so easy. You two look so in love, and always having fun. I love the picture of you and him on Space Mountain. I really am happy that you both still like to act like kids and hang out with each other like best friends. I hope one day that I will meet someone as special as John. Now down to business. Goldie is well... I can't quite put it into words... she is perfect! I loved looking at all of her pictures. You are really a wonderful mommy, and I am so proud of you Shelly. I love you and I am having the most amazing time in Australia. I am a bit embarassed of my blog now that I looked at yours. How do you get the fancy-schmancy borders around each picture, and get the comments under the right picture. I am having the most difficult time figuring it out!! I will write a comment, and then when I publish the post the comment is under some other random picutre and then none of it makes sense, becuase it is describing the wrong picture! Oh well, at least there is a visual for everyone to see. I miss you, and I really do think about you often. I am so glad to see you, John, and the little one are doing so great. xoxo, tell Kara I miss her too! Love you with all my heart! Oh and I loved the old picture of you from Woodlands, hilarous, I think that is about the time I really started to come over and play. Your mom made that dress... I know April's work when I see it, mixing polka-dots with flower pattern was her specialty! hehe give her a big smooch for me!
