Fussy little Goldie

Goldie at one week... this was just to warm us up for what was in store

So Goldie is colicky... she cries and cries, eats, sleeps and cries and every once in a while she'll squeak out a smile or two... we still can't get enough of her though but we haven't been taking too many pictures... here are the only recent ones.

Cousin Claire loves little Goldie and wants to hold her all the time

Our horrible adorable! She is getting so big already!

  3. Hey! I know exactly what you are going through! Elle was colicky until she was just over 3 months old. It was honestly a nightmare! I hope you can deal with it better then i did! We had the blow dryer going next to her swing 24/7! I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it comes! If you know anyone in Utah, there is this stuff you can get called gripe water. A friend showed it to me. Nasty stuff, but it is supposed to help calm their gassy little stomachs down and I felt like it helped! Sorry, if I knew your email I would write you! My last little bit- there is a blanket you can buy online called the miracle blanket. LIFE SAVER!!! I am not kidding it is expensive for a blanket, but I would have payed anything! It took three nights for Elle to get used to it, and then she started sleeping 8-12 hours some nights. It is so great it made the biggest difference for us! Sorry this is so long you both look so beautiful! Good luck!

  5. You'll probably hear this from a dozen people, but Ezra cried all the time too. Swaddling, bouncing and noise all helped us. Best of luck to you, it doesn't last forever, even though at times it feels like it might. Just keep loving on her, and amazingly, things will calm down!

  6. Our kids must be cut from the same mold! Colicky, sling hating, beach loving, darlings!! Sounds just like one of mine. Sorry about the colic- Cash is a little colicky and Krew was MAJOR colicky and it is just wretched. I wouldn't wish it one my worst enemy. Good thing she is so cute so you can still just love on her!

  12. Shelly, Goldie is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see her at Kara's shower....even if she cries the whole time. I can handle it...I did it with Kendyll. She'll grow out of it. Just try and enjoy every minute of her. They are so adorable even when they cry.
