Hazel Anne Hyde


Introducing Hazel Hyde. Born Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
6lbs 14oz



We started for the hospital early Wednesday morning. Shelly was excited to get the baby out.

After checking in around 7am, Shelly labored through pitocin induced contractions for most of the day.





Eventually she got an epidural and by about 9:30pm, she was ready to go!



A little after 9:44pm, mother met daughter.

As for Goldie, she has been a great big sister so far. Here she is prepping the car seat before we checked out of the hospital.





And Hazel is beautiful.

    oh my goodness...just like that! Congrats! She is so beautiful! I love that last picture of her all snuggled up!
    What are the stats? How much did she weigh?

    Yay Shelly! You make beautiful babies. I approve! You are a champ to labor through pitocin for that long. Pitocin is the ENEMY!! Anyhow, you look great, Hazel looks great, and I am so happy for you guys!

    I just want to cry she's so adorable and perfect! I can't believe seeing your face through the whole ordeal. . .how long were you on pitocin without an epidural? You're crazy!! That must have been unbearable! We feel so much joy for you and John. When can I bring you dinner?
