July 22 and August so far

On July 22 my darling darling handed me a plastic bag from bestbuy and said... "I was hoping when I asked you what you wanted for your birthday you would have said and new camera"

It was a great surprise even though after the hand off it was no surprise at all. So we have been taking pictures and trying to figure this CanonG10 out. We love it.

The first weekend in August I went to Youth Conference with some of my Young Women from our ward. It was 4 days and 3 nights away from my hus and bebe. Goldie was in good hands with her daddio. John said he was a better mom than me... he had her eat ALL of her dinner in her seat, brushed her teeth every night AND had her in bed by 8pm each night. He is a better mom than me.

Saturday came and I was anxious to get home to my Lovies. they kept each other busy until I got home in the early evening.


This outing began with a trip to the park... where it was too hot for daddy and daughter



SO they took it to the beach
I always love to see what john does with the girl's hair and clothes when I am offsite

So they played together there until I showed up... I ran home real quick for a quick change and rushed over to the beach to get to my baby

Happy little reunion


SO the last few weeks my sisters and I have kept busy going to Mom and Dad's house...


and playing in the pool and on the splash pad


We took a day and went to the Orlando Science Center with Heather and the Kiddies



Goldie ran around that place like she was a real kid




and of course there has been much beaching





I have been doing a lot of sleeping in with my lazy bones daughter and I don't feel guilty about it one bit. My good husband has started up a new school year of teaching seminary.... he knows my days are numbered to be in bed with out a grunting little nurser so he leaves me to sleep on. Love you for that babe.
8 weeks until baby girl comes

Jupiter weekend round 2

The week we got home from our adventures out West we took another weekend trip to Jupiter
It was a great time as always

First things first... Girls trip out on the open sea


Pretty sure I didn't even catch anything this trip
but I was sure good at jiggin' it



Ricker D did have a pretty good rally with this one


Maddie Moe was a great little fishergirl




Jamison was by far the most successful fisherman that weekend...
every time he had his hand on the pole he got one on

Saturday morning... bright and early... John and I went with the first boat out
Fist to catch bait... then out about 2 miles for the fishing

the Anderson family went out with Captain Daniel in the C&C
we stayed close by them while fishing for bait


John had a serious battle with a bonita

This is just about the time that we realized there was a school of SHARKS just beneath us there were about 20 sharks underneath us and one that look about 12-14 feet long I was panicking right about now...
After pulling in this feisty fish that had swallowed the hook
J finished him off with the gaff and sent it down to the sharks below...
it was crazy seeing the sharks attack that fish and then go after each other

Hyde Reunions 09'

We loved being out in NV and with all the Family
Danny and Annie... you were missed dearly

every morning Goldie woke up she would ask for a ride...
...and her papa

It was so fun to have G be with her cousins
she really missed you, Soph and Melia

It wouldn't be a Hyde reunion with out some healthy competition

I was a sorry shot with a bow and arrow...
Karen, on the other hand, was amazing

Lots of 4wheeling rides

Oh Hayley it was so good to see you

and lots of swimming

We had a great date night...

one night of the reunion we had a firework show...

that was complete with fire dancers, thanks david and scott,

and a camp fire with smores

And saving the best for last we had a beautiful baby blessing for Alana Mae
I loved this. It reminded me of the great name
and a blessing that Goldie received at her Grammy and Papa's house
